Sunday School

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School for children preschool (3 years old) through 5th grade. Children attend the worship service with their families at 9:30 a.m.  Then they are invited to join kids their own age for Sunday School from approximately 9:45 – 10:30 a.m.  After class, it’s time for music with our Children’s Music Coordinator. Once a month, the children lead the entire congregation in the song that they have learned.

Classrooms are divided into Pre-K, grades K-1st, 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th. Our curriculum is from the Spark! program, and is led in a rotation model. Kids explore one Bible story for 2-4 weeks—learning it through a different modalities,, including cooking, creative drama, music and science.

Classes are supervised by a shepherd teacher, and volunteers take turns leading the rotation “workshops” which allow the children to really engage in a lively, age-appropriate way.

The nursery is open each Sunday morning for children through age 3, from 9:15 a.m. until worship ends.  A safe, engaging environment is provided by our nursery coordinator, along with volunteers.
