Adult & Family Ministries
Offers options for both adult and family worship and introspection. From Adult Education in the form of Bagels and Books, to family retreats, this ministry focuses on enhancing the worship experience.

Children's Ministries
Is committed to teaching preschool through sixth grade children about the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through the use of Christian Education materials, music, and crafts, your child can participate in an atmosphere that is designed to teach them social skills as well as biblical lessons.

Church Growth
Provides activities and ideas for making First Church of Lombard a welcoming, preferred place for worship and fellowship in order to continually attract new members to our congregation

Ministry to Members
Focuses on providing the congregation with fellowship opportunities, including Weekly Sunday Coffee Hours after worship, and quarterly family movie nights.

New Ministries
Continually researches alternative worship and fellowship options to bring to our congregation.

Property and Grounds
Provides the care, maintenance and support of our physical church structure, the Outreach House, and our lawns and gardens.

Senior Connections
Focuses on fellowship and education for members who are 55 years of age and older. Seniors participate in outings for inspiration and recreation, and look toward aiding other seniors with ongoing care and worship needs.

Stewardship & Finance
Administers the budget of the church, and also is in charge of the yearly membership pledge drive, which determines said budget.

Wellness Ministry
Is dedicated to the health of our congregation as a whole. Through the use of education, activities and events, the Wellness Ministry informs and aids our congregation about health issues.

Wider Church Ministry
Is the bridge between our congregation and our outreach work. Wider Church and our Outreach House (which houses First Things First and Lombard/Villa Park Walk-In Ministry) coordinate with our multitude of outreach partners to seek ways to educate, inform and empower our congregation and community to act and serve locally, and globally.

Worship Ministry
Aids in preparation and setup for weekly worship services and coordinates ushers, liturgists and other special guests.

Youth Ministries
Works on ways to enable Young People (7 th grade through High School) to learn about themselves, their community and the greater world around them through service and learning. This ministry aids in planning and coordinating educational and outreach opportunities, recreational outings, as well as fund-raising events that support the High School Youth Community's yearly week-long Mission Trip.
